However, wallets continued to be popular, and many bags for women in the mid-twentieth century were not designed to hold much. Jeans became popular in the second half of the twentieth century. Their bags stand out from many other types of clothing.

The bag has a "smile" slit commonly found on western clothing. Other popular bag styles include patch bags, flap bags, and corded bags.
