Dream Day
Dream Day is observed next on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 (110 days from today).
Started by Dream School Foundation to make dreams come true for every child. Everyone, both children and adults should realize that anyone also can pursue their dreams at any age. Dream Day, March 11th every year, is a great chance for you to build your dream and plan to make it come true.
History of Dream Day
Dream Day exists to focus attention on our millennium so that all mankind, nations and organizations dedicate every year to unparalleled dreams for a better world and to think, act and act inspiration, determination and love to solve the remaining problems and achieve a united, peaceful human family on Earth. It was envisioned by Robert Muller, who was known as the Millenium Man.
The dreamful couch in El Rodeo, Costa Rica, at the foot of Mt. Rasur, near the University of Peace and the little house where Muller used to live. The couch was created around 1987 by Muller, along with Des Berghofer and Gerri Schwartz, who visited the University for Peace. Visitors coming to the bench have to put a stone or s pebble in each of their hands, close their eyes, put their hands together and dream. When they opened their eyes, they had to throw one of the stones to Earth into a nearby garden for it to remember the dream, and the other to be brought home as a reminder of the dream.
How to celebrate Dream Day
Dream Day can be celebrated in Costa Rica, where it began, or in your own community. If you can travel to Costa Rica, you can visit the Bench of Dreams. There you are encouraged to place a stone in each of your hands, close your eyes, press your hands together and dream. What should you dream about? You should dream of a better world and "solve the remaining problems of [the world] and achieve a united, peaceful human family on Earth." You can also visit the nearby University of Peace. If you can't mark the day in Costa Rica, you can create a "Bottom of Dreams" in your own community and fulfill your dreams for a better world there. You can also mark the day by reading one of Robert Muller's books.
It's time to rest, relax and revel in Dream Day! But don't use it as an excuse to lie back on the mattress - Dream Day was set up this year by a teacher at Columbia College as a means to help us all achieve our dreams and to make the world a better place into a much better place. You can organize a unique dream event in which many of you get together to discuss your dreams or stay at home and fantasize about what you most desire from existence. Develop a sublime dream, then make an action plan to achieve it. It's simple, it's beautiful: All you need to do is… dream!
