Maundy Thursday is one of the most important days in all of history. It was an important day in the life of Jesus. At every Mass 'On the night he was betrayed' is the words that we can hear. It was Maundy Thursday, the most important night of all nights in history. According to the Catholic calendar, Maundy Thursday (Washing of the Feet Thursday) is a holiday that falls within Holy Week - the last seven days of Lent before Easter.
Maundy Thursday is the occasion to celebrate four events: the washing of the feet of Jesus' disciples, the Eucharist instituted by Jesus at the Last Supper, the suffering of Jesus (Jesus) in the garden of Gethsemane) and the betrayal of Judas Iscariot (Judas Iscariot). This is also the time when Jesus instituted the Sacrament of Holy Orders.

History of Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday is the occasion to remember the Last Supper of Jesus when He instituted the Eucharist before His arrest and crucifixion, this is also the time He instituted the Sacrament of Holy Orders. This Holy Day falls before Easter on the Thursday and is part of Holy Week. Jesus took dinner as a pass over party. Christ will fulfill His mission as a lamb at the Passover that died for all mankind to save humanity by His final sacrifice.
The Last Supper was Jesus' last meal with his disciples in Jerusalem. At the heart of the Maundy Thursday memorial is the rite of remembrance of the Last Supper at Mass. This event is celebrated at every Mass as part of the Eucharistic liturgy these rites are especially repeated during Maundy Thursday. His disciples also were instituted the special priesthood by Him which is distinct from the priesthood of the faithful. Christ washing the feet of the disciples who were the first priests to establish the priesthood was repeated at Mass with the priest washing the feet of some parishioners.
During the Passover, Jesus broke bread, gave it to his disciples, and said, "This is my body, which I sacrifice for you." Immediately he said, "This is My Blood." white lifted the cup of wine and those who will have eternal life if they believe that by eating and drinking the Body and Blood of Christ.
Throughout Mass Catholics are convinced that the unleavened bread and wine are transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ through the process of incarnation, and there are still famous Eucharistic miracles that attest to this fact (the flowing Eucharist).
How to observe Maundy Thursday
On Maundy Thursday, the Catholic Church celebrates the Last Supper as part of every Mass by the consecration of Christ by which we are saved.
